Prof. Dr. Thomas Wendler, absolvierte 2004 ein Studium zum Elektroingenieur an der Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Valparaíso in Chile. Danach studierte er an der Technischen Universit?t in München 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】izintechnik und wurde dort 2010 als Informatiker (im Bereich Computeranwendungen in der 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】izin) promoviert. Zwischen 2008 und 2018 war er in der Industrie besch?ftigt und arbeitete u.a. als Gesch?ftsführer und Leiter der Technologieabteilung in den Firmen OncoBeta GmbH und SurgicEye GmbH in München. Zudem war er in dieser Zeit an der Gründung verschiedener erfolgreicher Start-Ups beteiligt (u.a. SurgicEye und ScintHealth). In dieser Zeit konnte er ein internationales Netzwerk von Kontakten zu Industrie und Wissenschaft aufbauen. 2019 kehrte er an die Universit?t zurück und war zuletzt Vize-Direktor des Lehrstuhls für Computeranwendungen in der 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】izin und erweiterte Realit?t an der Technischen Universit?t München sowie Leiter des Interdisziplin?ren Forschungslabors am Klinikum rechts der Isar in München. Seit dem 1. September 2023 hat er die Professur für Clinical Computational 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】ical Imaging Research der 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】izinischen Fakult?t mit enger Anbindung an die Klinik für Diagnostische und Interventionelle Radiologie inne.
