Digital Humanities Initiative
The Digital Humanities Initiative fosters linking between numerous initiatives and working groups of the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Augsburg. Therefor, research and teaching in human siences will be connected with digital components. We organize meetings on a regular basis for all the interested to that end.

We provide a starting point for collegues, co-workers and students with interest in Digital Humanities in general or for questions or suggestions regarding digital methods in humanities. To get started and ensure to be up to date, join our mailing list. This will be especially used to coordinate meetings and events of the Digital Humanities Initiative.

The digital Humanities Initiative is organized in cooperation between the chairs and professorships of the Faculty of Philology and History and respective professorships of the High Tech Agenda Bavaria at the university. Prof. Dr. Christian Chiarcos (Applied Computerlinguistics, Faculty of Philology and History) and Prof. Dr. Annemarie Friedrich (Language understanding with applied Digital Humanities, Faculty of Applied Computer Science) are particularly involved.
