Curriculum Vitae

Laura Macpherson joined the team of research assistants at the Chair of Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems and Management in February of 2025. She contributes to the BMFTR-funded research project "PriBizz - Web Analytics Business Models for Privacy-by-Design and the Support of Informational Self-Determination of Citizens".

After completing her Abitur at the German School of Geneva in 2018, she began her studies at the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Augsburg, where she obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law and Economics. She wrote her master’s thesis at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Daniel Veit, focusing on the digital transformation of law firms in Germany. Through a qualitative study, she examined sector-specific challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of digital technologies in legal practice.

During her master’s studies, Laura Macpherson gained valuable practical experience as a student research assistant at the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Augsburg. From July 2022 to September 2024, she worked at the Chair of Innovation and Sustainable Management. She then joined the Chair of Information Systems and Management under Prof. Dr. Daniel Veit as a student research assistant before starting her position as a research assistant there in early 2025.
