In 2001 he was awarded a M.Sc. degree in Management from the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Texas at Dallas. Subsequently, he worked at the Institute for Statistics of the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Marburg. Following his participation in the PhD-programme in quantitative economics at Goethe 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Frankfurt he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Research and a Ph.D. at the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Munich. After working as a visiting researcher at the Department of Applied Economics of the Erasmus 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Rotterdam in 2009, in 2010 he joined the Chair for Entrepreneurship and Management at the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Würzburg. Since October 2014 he holds a post-doc position at the Chair for Management, Innovation and Sustainable Business (fmr?Management, Innovation and international Business)?of the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Augsburg. His research deals with topics in innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial economics, where he uses both formal models and empirical methods (including laboratory experiments).
